Mark Roth

Founder & Chief Executive Officer– Mark served as the President and COO of PCLS where he oversaw the operations of one of America’s largest toxicology labs with annual revenues in excess of $150 million. In 2016, after directing the merger between AIT and PCLS, Mark founded Elite Diagnostics and recruited the best and brightest from PCLS to start Elite – a new venture helping physicians recapture lab revenue being lost to the big box reference laboratories. Mark brings expertise in both the patient care and financial facets of the healthcare industry having earned his MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania after graduating with a degree in biology from UNC – Chapel Hill.

Anna Dawsey

Dr. Dawsey, Elite’s Director of Quality is a qualified Clinical Toxicology Lab Director, and senior scientist with extensive diversified managerial and technical expertise. Dr. Dawsey brings a deep knowledge of both procurement and implementation of licensures and credentials compliant with CLIA, CAP, ISO, state specific license boards, in addition to various other accrediting and regulatory bodies. Having overseen continuous improvement initiatives resulting in significant economic savings, quality improvement, and increase in personnel morale, Dr. Dawsey brings unmatched technical expertise to both the clinical and toxicological lab environments.

Elliot Labovitz

Director of Business Development – With years of legal practice as a healthcare attorney at a leading regional law firm as well as experience as both in-house counsel and director of operations in the behavioral health and toxicology reference lab markets, Elliot brings a wide array of healthcare knowledge. Elliot earned his JD from Georgetown Law after graduating from UNC – Chapel Hill with a degree in economics.

Kara Long

With nearly a decade of executive experience at the highest levels of the laboratory industry, Kara Long is a multifaceted leader who gets things done. In her time as Vice President of Operations at PCLS, she coordinated customer account management for over 2,000 customer accounts across the United States, provided toxicology support to thousands of physicians helping them to provide more informed and effective patient care, and managed critical operational projects for one of the country’s largest toxicology reference laboratories. Kara earned her M.S. in Pharmacology from University of South Carolina and a B.S. in Forensic Science from University of Central Florida.

Megan Younts

Brings over 10 years of industry experience in laboratory operations and management. Megan has degrees in biology, toxicology, and entomology and is currently completing a MS program in Toxicology at the University of Florida. Her diverse background includes specializations in team training, method validation, quality and compliance systems, laboratory development, and strategic planning.

Matt Thacker

Earned an MS in Medical Science with a specialization in Pharmacology from the University of Kentucky after completing his BS in Chemistry from the University of Alabama. During his studies he was published twice for research in cancer and neuro-degenerative diseases. Matt joined PCLS in 2012 where he worked in roles including Toxicology Support, Product Development, Medical Coder and Software Administration. Matt acted as the project manager through the integration of the PCLS-AIT merger in 2016.

Sarah Harris

Sarah Harris serves as Chief Technical Officer for Elite Diagnostics, LLC and Lighthouse Lab Services. Sarah earned her Masters in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame and her Ph.D. in Public Health from the University of South Carolina. Sarah is a Certified Toxicological Chemist with the National Registry of Certified Chemists and has nearly a decade of extensive experience in method development, optimization, and validation across a wide array of laboratory disciplines and instrumentation.
